Free Online Event Registration Tool
Sign-Up Forms in Seconds — No Account Needed

Free online event registration with a cap per session: list your dates, set how many spots each one has, share one registration link. When a session is full, it says so — and people can join the waitlist.

Built for the sign-ups that usually end up in a WhatsApp thread: yoga and pilates sessions, first-aid courses, workshops, tutoring slots, club trainings. Add the questions you need — name, email, phone number — share via WhatsApp or email, and every participant gets a confirmation email with a link to change their registration.   No account for you or your participants. Unlimited registration forms, unlimited registrations, no fees.

Whocan: Event Sign-up Made Easy!

Most event registration tools are built for ticket sales. Whocan is built for the other kind of event: the pilates class with eight mats, the first-aid course offered on eleven dates, the workshop with fifteen chairs. You list the sessions, set the spots, share one link — and see who's coming, per session, in real time. No account, no app, no fees.

Want every setting explained with a live sample? Read the class booking guide. Curious how it holds up under pressure? See how a 62-person event used it.

Popular Registration Page Themes

Four ways people use Whocan for sign-ups — start from the one that looks like yours.
Weekly class series
One yoga, pilates or training session a week for the whole term. Set the limit once, repeat the date, add a waitlist, share one link.
Course with several dates to choose from
First-aid course, workshop, language class: offer the dates, set a limit for each one, let people pick the date that fits.
One session, limited spots
A single workshop, retreat or trial class with a fixed number of places. Add a picture and a description, set the limit, send the link.
Who's coming to training this week?
Not a booking — a running attendance list. Your team ticks the evenings they can make, 'maybe' included.

How to create a registration link for an event

Three steps, no account, free. The link works on any device — participants don't need an app either.

1. Open the Class Booking template and name your event

Click 'Create your event sign-up form', enter the name of your course or event, and add a picture if you like.

2. Add sessions, spots and the questions you need

List your dates or time slots and set a limit for each one. Ask for an email address so every participant gets a confirmation, add a phone number if you need it, and add a waitlist under sessions that might fill up.

3. Copy the registration link and send it

Share it via WhatsApp, email or on your website. Participants open the link, pick a session, enter their name — done. You see every registration live.

Managing sign-ups -- effortlessly

Whether it's a yoga class, a club event, or a workshop: as soon as multiple people need to sign up, things get messy. Paul and I experienced this ourselves -- and decided to build a solution with Whocan that's so simple, everyone understands it right away.

Registration forms with a limit per session, a waitlist and a confirmation email, free, no sign-up required. That's Whocan.

What Users Say About Our Registration Tool

I just used Whocan for the registration for our closing event, and it positively surprised me with the options that participants intuitively used. They even sent me additional info I hadn't thought of. Great!

Frequently asked questions about event registration

How to register for an event online?
To register for an event online, the organizer creates a sign-up form (with a tool like Whocan, Eventbrite, or Google Forms), shares the link via email, WhatsApp, or social media, and participants click to enter their details. Whocan lets you do this for free, without an account, in under a minute.
How to create a registration link for an event?
Use an event registration platform like Whocan. Create your form, customize the fields, and share the generated link with participants via email, WhatsApp, or social media. The link works on any device — no app or account needed.
How do I create a free registration link for an event?
With Whocan it takes three steps and no account: open the Class Booking template and name your event, add your sessions with a limit each, then copy the registration link and send it via WhatsApp or email. There is no paid plan, so the link stays free however many people register.
Can I limit the number of spots per session?
Yes. Each session carries its own limit, and the form stops accepting registrations for that session once it's reached. Most hosts set somewhere between 2 and 12 spots — a small-group class, a workshop table, a tutoring slot.
What happens when a session is full?
The session shows as full and can no longer be selected; the other sessions stay open. If you added a waitlist under the date, people enter how many spots they'd need and you see the list next to the session. When someone drops out, you contact the next person and register them yourself — there is no automatic promotion.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes. In the Class Booking template, click 'Waitlist' under any session to add one. Participants who find the session full enter their number of people; you get the total per session and a column in the results table and in the Excel export.
How do I set up a weekly course?
Create one session with its date, time and limit, then choose 'Repeat' — weekly, every two weeks or monthly — and an end date. Whocan generates the whole series with the same limit on every date. For next term, copy the poll and adjust the dates.
Do participants get a confirmation email?
Yes. In the Class Booking template, 'Participants should provide an email address' is on by default, and underneath it you can switch on 'Email participants a confirmation of their response'. Each participant immediately gets an email with their registration — which session, how many people, their comments — and again after every change or if it's removed, including a link to edit it. Replies to that email go straight to your inbox. The only requirement: your own Whocan account needs an email address, which is free.
Can I collect email addresses or phone numbers?
Yes, both are optional fields you switch on in the settings. Only you see them — they stay hidden from other participants. Useful when a session moves or is cancelled, or when you need a minimum number of people to run a course — and the email address is what the confirmation email goes to.
Can parents register more than one child?
One registration takes one spot, so each child is registered with their own name — that keeps the list clear. If a spot is booked by phone or in person, add it yourself from the results table.
What is the best free event sign-up tool?
For small events — workshops, yoga classes, courses, birthday parties, or community gatherings — Whocan is the easiest free event sign-up tool. No account required, unlimited registrations, no hidden costs. For large conferences with paid tickets, tools like Eventbrite or Cvent fit better.
How to set up online registration for an event?
Click ‘Create your event sign-up form’ at the top of this page, enter your event name, add your sessions and the questions you want to ask (name, email, phone number), and share the generated link. Whocan handles the rest — you see all registrations in real time.
What is an online registration form?
An online event registration form is a digital form where participants can sign up for an event, providing details like their name, contact info, and preferences. Online forms replace paper sign-up sheets and let organizers see responses in real time.
What is the best platform for event registration?
The best platforms for online event registration include Eventbrite (paid ticketing, large events), Google Forms (basic surveys), Microsoft Forms (Office 365 users), and Whocan (free, no account, small events and courses). The best one depends on your event size and budget.
Is Whocan really free for event registration?
Yes — Whocan is fully free for event registration. No premium plan, no hidden fees, no limit on registrations. You can create unlimited registration forms and invite unlimited attendees without paying anything.
